Liverpool 3 - 1 Everton

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Gerrard open the scoring against Everton.

Liverpool maintained their unlikely Premiership title challenge with a 3-1 win over nine-man Everton at Goodison Park. Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouch gave Liverpool an early two goal lead before James Beattie pulled a goal back with a header moments before half-time. But Djibril Cisse sealed the win with a wonderful run and finish two minutes into the second half.

Woo hoo!! Liverpool had their 9th league victory against the other side of Merseyside! A victory is sweet.. But it is even sweeter when the loser is none other than the Toffees!! Conceding total of 11 ridiculous goals in 3 EPL matches! Now lying in the 4th spot - from behind! Muahahah!! What is happening to the once "mighty" Everton?

Liverpool is now 3rd in the EPL, 4pts adrift of ManUre but with 2games in hand. Hopefully we can continue our great run this season! The mission is to over take Chel$ki!!

NKF Saga Continue With KPMG Report

Think by now most of you guys shud had more or less learnt abt the auditing report by KPMG on the old NKF board. So is qt useless for me to repeat everything you all can find on the newspaper and websites like CNN right? Feel free to read up the KPMG report here :

From KPMG report, it make us realised dat how ridiculous the old Board of Directors can be when handling the finance of NKF. They basically are just playing with words for their own usage of the donated funds by the charitable Singaporeans over the years.

Ex-CEO of NKF

Mathilda Chua

Such as "Study" trip to Las Vegas to attend concerts, so as to learn more ideas for fund raising performances. Apart from the misuse of funds, the directors are using their link wif NKF to earn for their own company!! Most notable investment by NKF is on Mathilda Chua's company- on a software system that failed to work, but stil get paid!! For more of their ugly deeds u can read up from Rockson's blog

Some extracted qoutes from Rockson's blog

"...If I am the new NKF, I will change my name now. Put one NEW in front is no use one. People see the name of NKF already want to pui chau nua, you still want to keep the name because of the first NKF CEO who is real good heart one? I think best is change name to No More Durai Kidney Federation, NMDKF. Like this maybe people will trust you again..."

"...Singaporean need to stop being stupid. We think everything is take care by Gahmen, even charity also will not cheat people. Now we know even Gahmen also can make mistake. The only people you can trust is yourself. So many big company and gahmen department involve, now then they catch NKF.

PWC: I dunno
National Charity Ministry: I dunno
Health Ministry: I dunno
Income Tax Ministry: I dunno

They dunno who fucking know? "

If you wish to read on vulgarities-free report, u may read Xialanxue's blog instead.. Haha

I've been a monthly donor for NKF. It sadden me when KPMG reports dat for every $1 donated, only 10cents goes to the paitients!! Disgusting mismanagement of donated funds!! Really hope that Duria and Co. may get charge!! Argh!!

Wondering how did Mrs SM Goh feel when reading on the auditing report by KPMG... She has so much support for Duria...

Yet...

Shit does happens

10 Consecutive Clean Sheet!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Morientes celebrating his goal against Boro.

The current Liverpool side had equaled their club record of 10 consecutive clean sheet on 10 Dec 2005 with a comfortable 2 - 0 victory in a EPL game against Middlesbrough, with Fernando Morientes scoring a brace in the last 15mins of the game! Arrival of Jose Reina from Villareal definitely added some steal in the defence.

Together wif the old guard Hyypia and ever reliable Carragher in the central defence, supported by Finnan on the right side and rotation of Traore, Warnock and Riise on the left, Liverpool is the 1 of the 2 teams left that conceded single digit goal in the EPL. Not to forget 4 of the 8 conceded is against the "mighty" Chel$ski.

Now the next target for Liverpool is to conquer the World Clubs Cup in Japan!

Who really makes Laptops??

Was reading in a forum and stumble across this topic on "Who really makes Laptops?". Out of curiosity I decided to read up to expand my knowledge, and I'm quite amazed to find out that some major laptops manufacturers dun actually manufacture their own laptops!! They bought barebone laptops (Definition in GREEN below) from ODMs and plug in RAM, Processor, Hard disk, Optical Drive and install softwares themselves. The final products they will then passed off with their sticker label!

The following are adopted from http://www.gen-x-pc.com/laptopmanu.htm

Virtually none of the "Name Brand" manufacture their own laptops. The few notable exceptions are IBM, Acer, Toshiba, Twinhead and Apple. Yet, even Toshiba and Apple do not make all of their own. All of the rest buy their laptops from what is called an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM).

ODM - Original Design Manufacturers

ODMs are the true manufacturers who actually cast, and assemble the main unit which includes the motherboard, outside casing, and display. A few examples of ODMs are Quanta, Compal, Clevo, Mitac, Asus, AOPEN (Acer), Uniwill, and TwinHead-- perhaps you have never heard of these companies before. But you have definitely seen their systems under other well known brand names. ODMs are usually located somewhere in Asia, and may have distribution centers in the US. ODMs distribute their product to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Each ODM sells its computers to several different OEMs.

OEM's - Original Equipment Manufacturers

OEMs add the Memory, Processor, Hard Drive, Optical Drives and software to the systems. The OEMs perform final assembly and stick their label (Brand) to it, and call themselves manufacturers. Their products are then sold directly to dealers/resellers like GEN-X-PC or directly to the public (i.e. DELL). However most companies such as Dell now have their laptops assembled in Asia. Our OEM is in the USA, assembled in the USA and our 24 hour 7 days a week Toll Free Tech Support is 100% USA. Once these companies add in these components, they have a complete laptop. They then put their label on it and market it.

UEFA charge Essien

Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has been charged by UEFA following his tackle on Liverpool's Dietmar Hamann in Tuesday's Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge.

The Ghana international caught the German midfielder below the knee after a late challenge during the goalless draw but was not punished by the referee. The 23-year-old summer signing from Lyon will face a charge of gross sporting misconduct at a hearing on December 15.

Essien's tackle proved the main talking point from the game as, despite the result, both sides had already qualified for the last 16.Hamann described the tackle as 'the worst I've suffered in my career' and questioned how Essien escaped formal punishment on the field from referee Herbert Fandel.

UEFA have now acted retrospectively after studying video footage of the incident, perhaps prompted by comments about the tackle from FIFA president Sepp Blatter.Blatter pointed out that video evidence can be used for incidents not seen by the referee at the time. This differs from another controversial incident involving Essien earlier in the season after a tackle on Bolton's Tal Ben Haim in a Barclays Premiership match. On that occasion Essien was booked by Rob Styles, but after seeing replays the official later said he should have sent him off.

The Football Association, however, did not have power to upgrade the yellow card to a red on video evidence as the incident was deemed to have been dealt with on the field.Essien's tackle on Hamann was not spotted by Fandel or his assistants.

MUAHAHAHA~!! This mother son is finally going to be charged by UEFA! Simply unbelievable when Essien din even bother to apologize to Hamann after his dangerous knee tackle on him. Luckily Hamann escaped only bruisings on his knee. Think Essien is trying to act blur, if he apologize publicly means indirectly he actually admitted is his mistake. Thus to save his backside he simply act blur.

As wat a famous SAF phrase stated:

"Act Blur Live Longer"

Liverpool Top Group G

Liverpool had edged out Chel$ki after a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.. Well done guys!

But the match is married wif idiotic Michael Essien trying to end Didi Hamann's career wif a dangerous tackle on his knee.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It's damn obvious Essien is aiming for Hamann's knee instead of the blardy ball. Unless he is so "pa jiao" until cannot differentiate a human knee and a ball. UEFA shud gif this mother son a ban!! ARGH!

红星大奖

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

After watching 红星大奖 last nite, I'm AGAIN irritated by Mr Mark Lee's "Thank You speech" after he clinched the last spot of "Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste".

Just last year's 红星大奖, the 1st thing he said after receiving his award for the same "Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste" award ->

"Why always announced my name last?!"

To me (at least) is a super unhumble speech. He had no respect for other contestants who failed to land the award. Why is he complaining when he had actually won it? Have he ever think of the feeling of the rest? Shud gif him the chance to sit thru out the whole award presentation without any chance to speak in the stage.

This year he give another "hao lian" speech to preach abt he is the "best". C'mon la, if Chou Chu Ming and Xie Shaoguang is still running for Top10 this year.. I dun even think he got the chance to stand there and gif his speech. I feel that Xu Zhengrong deserve his place in Top 10 than him. Cant stand this HL guy. Hope he will not win next year. If he is really the "best", WHY din he bag the other 2 awards (Best Comedy Performer and Best Variety Show Host) he is being nominated in? This simply show he is NOT the "best" at all.
