So glad that Liverpool has finally found the winning habit.. and start scoring goals! After a 2-0 victory against West Ham, Liverpool edged out Anderlecht wif a convincing 3-0 win, wif goals from Morientes, Garcia and Cisse.

Surprisingly, I'm not as disappointed after seeing Liverpool being mauled by the "mighty" Chel$ki.. I hope the defeat will be a wake up call for Benitez to rethink about his NEW tactic of employing Peter "Beanpole" Crouch as a lone striker upfront..

We are getting more predictable wif Crouch leading the strike force alone.. It's no doubt abt his aerial capability and his ball controlling.. But Liverpool is not fully benefitting from Crouch's knockdowns b'cos there isn't any 1 there receiving them.. IS Benitez relying on Crouch to head into goal wif all the crosses supply to him?

I would really like to see someone is partnering Crouch.. supports him and receives his knockdowns.. Hopefully Morientes will recover real soon.. OR we could haf a change of partnership for different strategies.. Morientes-Crouch, Cisse-Crouch, Cisse-Morientes..

Went for a gathering dinner at a Zhi Char stall in CCK wif frens on Tuesday nite and in total we spent $40.80

So decided to try my luck on Wed and decided to bet on our total spending and the last 4digits of the receipt invoice number.

Checking on the 4D results in Singapore Pool website on Wednesday nite and realised that I'd missed the 1st prize by a single digit!!!!

The world crushed on me!! Sobz.. So near YET so far!!!
If we had spent $1 more I could had striked the 1st prize!! Haaaaaaizzzz! $2000 juz flew past me wif a breeze.. (T-T)

After watching today's 绝对Superstar.. it is super obvious that the judges are mostly bias towards JY esp Ye Pei Fen.. all e positive comments and not much negative ones.. frankly, JY's performances r realli so-so onli 2day yet he can get 40+ for 2 out of 3 songs..

in my opinion WL had done exceptionally well for his Heaven Knows.. even all e Superstar contestants gif a stand up ovation aft his song.. YET he scored onli 30+.. wat a joke.. WL realli deserves alot better scores.. too bad most of e judges r against him..

Was walking at City Link towards MS when I noticed that Flash & Splash is having a 2days 15% Sales from 2-3 July.. Since my current flip-flops is gg to turn 1yr old soon so decided to get myself a new pair.. and went in to tk alook.. But the City Link outlet doesnt haf much designs.. so me and darling head to MS to walk walk 1st.. the present MS looks vdifferent now.. much more modern and refreshing (It got to be rite? If not why bother to renovate in the 1st place? bleahz)

Back From Reservist (2June - 10June)

Finally, my reservist has ended yest! The feeling of wearing the same old green is stil as fresh as if I'm stil in service.. my fellow campmates stil looks the same... not much changes.. In a way, this reservist is gd cos I gotta meet up with my platoon mates who haf not seen them for the past 1yr+.. but the sickening feeling of stayin in camp is stil as f**k up as ever.. haf to book in back in camp in Sunday night is stil as miserable... I'm jus so glad I only haf to spend 8days in camp! Been feeling super low on the 1st day of reporting... Haf done some repelling and roping down training and a 1 night around Tekong Island tour, which gifted me some blisters and HEAT RASH! Argh... simple unbearable! Luckily it's all over...

Things haf all been turning against me.. Failing 1 module, 2 IPPT attempts and the super irritating ICT... my failed module really been bothering me lately... everyday without fail I'll be saded by it... haaaaaaaaaaaiz! so miserable! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~! now waiting for the reply for my review... hopefully something is done and juz gimme a D!~ I'll be damn happy liaoz~

Reds Lands Famous Win!!


Liverpool staged an astonishing comeback to win the Champions League trophy the 5th time. They trailed AC Milan 3-0 at the break with goals from Maldini and Crespo(2), but scored 3 times (Gerrard, Smicer and Alonso) in 6 second half minutes to turn the match around. Jerzy Dudek was then the hero as the Reds were victorious on penalties.

Even a die-hard fan like me has given up hope in the 1st half when the scoreline is 3-0. It's heart pain to see Liverpool put up a disastorous performance in the 1st half, with our defence chasing the shadows of Shevchenko and Crespo. I eventually went to sleep at half time, thinking we are dead and buried. However, Liverpool decided to give me a morning surprise by defeating AC Milan in penalty shootout! What a final! Finally, we have won the coveted trophy for the 5th time and going to keep it for live! Hehehe

It has been a few months since the Singapore Idol finale. Taufik Batisah and Sylvester Sim had captured the imagination of Singaporean of all races and religions with their earnest performances on stage. Today, our showbiz reporter Kate reunite the 2 idols again and attempts to ask some thought provoking questions with regards to their new found fame, albums and their future plans.

Kate: Welcome guys. First and foremost, thanks for coming despite your very hectic schedule.
Taufik: Glad you know I have a hectic schedule. Lets get on with the questioning and not waste anymore of my precious time.
Sylvester: Wah, Taufik so busy hor. Where you going later? Suria AGAIN hah?
Sly chuckles
Taufik: Are you implying you have a tighter schedule than me?
Sly: No lah, only channel 8 and channel U loh, maybe also a few mandarin radio stations later in the afternoon loh. Not very busy lah.
Taufik: For your info, I’m not going Suria. I have a few photo shoots and recording later.
Sly: Whatever loh.
Kate: Guys guys, lets not squabble over petty issue. I’m sure both of you are equally busy. Ok Taufik, since you are the Singapore Idol, I’m going to start with you.

Kate: Your first album has shifted more than 5000 copies in Singapore. A rare feat for a local artiste
Sly: My one shifted 6000 already.

Mine is the cool, hip and sophisticated group. Obviously I’m delighted that the album did so well, but that is to be expected from any talented singer.
Sly: Oh please.
Taufik: In fact, to demonstrate my singing prowess, I’m going to do a rendition of one of my fav songs, “I Fly” right here, right now.
Sly: Fly already don’t come back hor.
Taufik: (agitated and irritated) Just what the fuck do you want? You want a piece of me, come and get it, you fucking chao Ah Beng.

Sly sprung up from his seat to attack Taufik again. It takes another couple of minutes before the minders get both idols in their seats again.

Kate: Ok Sylvester, care to elaborate on the Maia issue.
Sly: It was a spur of the moment decision. Both of us thought over it later and realized it was a stupid mistake. A hasty mistake. I like to take this chance to apologize to all my fans who idolize me. Your prince charming will never do anything like that again.
Both Taufik and his minder fake a puke.
Kate: Now Taufik, coming back to your album. Some critics have labeled your album as infantile. What is your view?
Taufik: Who the fuck said that?
Kate: Eh . . . not sure. Some ang moh I think.
Taufik: Well let me tell that ang moh something. I put in an awful lot of sweat and efforts in this album and I’m damn proud of every song in it. If you want to listen to something mature, go ask your mom to nag at you.
Sly: You know, I listen to some of the songs in your album. They are indeed really childish.
Taufik: Is not.
Sly: Is too.
Taufik: IS NOT.

Kate: My next question concern a rumour. I don’t know where this rumour arises from, but I hope you can clarify it. There seems to be reports saying that Olinda Cho, your fellow Singapore Idol finalist has the hots for you.
Taufik: Hello Kate, I just have my breakfast leh.
Minder whispers something to him.
Taufik: Sorry. What I mean is me and Olinda are very good friends. But there’s no way it will go beyond friendship. She knows it and I know it. And it has nothing to do with her physique. Absolutely nothing to do with it.
Sly: (sarcastically) Like real.
Kate: Back to you Sly. You model your image as a rocker. Do you think there’s any possibility that there’s any chance you will go into other genres as far as music is concerned?
Sly: Never. You can take away my jacket, my sunglasses and even my underwear which I bought from the market, but you can never take away the “rock” in me.
Taufik: Didn’t know you kena gallstones.
Sly stare at Taufik who stare right back.
Kate: One last question for both of you before we wrap up this interview. Do you fear your popularity will fade once the next idol comes along?
Both laugh loudly to emphasis the ludicrous nature of the question.
Sly: Of course not. You want to know why? Because Sylvester Sim is going regional baby. Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, all I hoot ka liao. Heheheh.

He seems insane... and not me!

Well... again... God Pls Bless him...

On April 2, 21:37 hrs, the world have lost a great man in Pope John Paul II. God has called him home to be with Him. Thousands of ppl flocked to Vatican City, St Peter Square to keep vigil and prayed for our beloved Pope upon learning abt his deterioating health earlier. This reflected how much our Pope is being loved and respected by ppl. Even famous world leaders attended his funeral.

Upon hearing the announcement of Pope's death on April2, many in the crowd wept, and follow by a long applause( An Italian way of showing respect for the death of a great man). Upon learning the news in the morning, it's really heart breaking for me. Part of me is sad cos of the death of a great man, but the other part of me is glad he has finally been relieved of all his pains n sufferings. Greatest of all, he is finally joining God in heaven.

While many Catholics and non-catholics are mourning for the death of Pope John Paul the Great. Some fool in my MSN contact list decide to came out a few jokes out of it. Firstly, HE put his nick as "Vatican City has a vacant appointment. Anyone wanna apply for it? Holidays job.". This definitely ignited the anger in me. What is his problem? Mocking my religion. I told him off in my MSN nick nicely and ask him to remove it. Guess what is his reaction? He created another unfunny joke in his MSN nick again. "Newsflash: Vatican has just appointed a new chinese pope. And his name is Pope Piah". This time I'm even more angered by his response. So I again told him off and ask him to show some respect to my religion. Guess what again guys? Tk a look below!



He is accusing me of pushing my luck! He's simply childish! Well, can you guys believed it? An adult who is 22 this year came out with insensitive jokes and now accused me. I decided not to engage in this childish arguement with this 22 year old ADULT. Cos I'm not so childish! Anyway, I forgive him for his childishness. As a Catholic myself, I don't wish to create trouble. And it's always gd to forgive as what Jesus had taught us. I asked God to bless the ignorant ppl, and hope 1 day HE will grown out of his unbelievable childishness.

Cast that aside. Lets pray that the new Pope will be able to carry on the mission that John Paul the Great has left behind, and carry on to spread the gd news to the unreached masses!

Then theres the mp3 issue. CANNOT dl mp3, CANNOT distribute mp3 everything CANNOT. You get fined $1k for every megabyte of song you download. I have 1000+ songs. News headlines "19-year old fined $10,000,000. He says he can't pay". Bravo. What do we expect next? Thats what we get for signing that FTA. FREE TRADE AGREEMENT. Yeah rite, wtf is free in this world? What you get for free you pay it with your balls LATER. RIAA in the States is suing 10-year old kids because they have a Britney Spears mp3 on their harmless lil iMAC. So they say, "the recording companies are losing money", very CORRECT i agree. But they hand out million-dollar contracts to artists like Ashlee Simpson or Yellowcard who sing ****. Where do they get the money? Picture this. The artist only has to sing once and all the recording company has to do is buy blank $1 CD-R, record the singing, add a few ****ty words on the cover and you get the album which costs $20+. Give $1 to the artist, $0.50 for advertising and the rest they keep. The truth is, people still buy albums. Correct interpetation - "They are only having less profits." Its a farce. I have no probs buying an album but ONLY if i choose the songs i want. The Metallica St Anger album which i took the trouble to order was the biggest pile of crap that ever laid on my poor ears. So which is more wrong? Downloading mp3s or punishing a ten-year old for an amount of money he has yet to see let alone touch?

Yes and theres the bloody casino which they're gonna build next. How about Sentosa Prison next to it? Singaporesn are already habitual gamblers.
